I was so excited Saturday morning because my cousin Londyn and aunt Lori were headed to St. Louis for the weekend. They arrived early Saturday afternoon. After some guitar hero, we decided to go to Fitz’s in the Delmar Loop for dinner. I had never been there so it was a lot of fun for all of us. After dinner, we drove over to the City Museum! It was not like a museum at all…more like a giant jungle gym made of random materials. We had a lot of fun exploring. There were a few things that Lori and I said…you guys go ahead and have fun with that. We’ll wait here. 🙂
Sunday morning, we had cinnamon rolls and then went to SIX FLAGS!!! They are having a deal now where everyone pays the same price as a child’s ticket ($30). When we got to the ticket gate, they’re having another deal where people can buy 6 visits for $35! We went for it. Even if we go one more time, it’s totally worth it!
We convinced Londyn that she could ride the Batman ride so we did that one first. There was no line. We just walked right up to the ride and got on. There was no time for her to chicken out. She liked it but did not want to ride it again, lol. We rode a few other rides (nothing scary) and then headed to the water park for some sun and water slides.
After a long day, we came home and I fixed some alfredo for dinner. We watched National Treasure 2 (really good!) and then went to bed.
I had a such a great time and can’t wait for them to come back to see me again.
