Weekend in Review

This weekend was nice and relaxing. Friday night we didn’t do a whole lot but it was nice to just relax for awhile. Saturday, Collin’s mom came to visit for a very random but fun time. We ate lunch at El Paisano and then headed toward Steinmart where Jana was looking for a headboard. On the way, Collin spotted an Oberweiss ice cream store so we had to stop for a cone. I had the black cherry (so good) while Collin and Jana both got the peppermint. We eventually made it to Steinmart but no headboards for sale there. We decided to head up to Plaza Frontenac to wander through Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. They had a lot of really pretty stuff set up for the holidays.

While we were wandering though the mall, we noticed a Sleep Number bed store. Jana had always wanted to see how they worked, so we stopped in. We spent over an hour trying all the different beds and finding our own sleep numbers. (I’m a 25)  Of course the beds are not cheap..but they really were comfortable!

We were really tired after laying on beds for an hour so we headed home. We watched SNL while playing Scrabble and eating popcorn. Jana pulled out the victory with the word UT. I still don’t know what it means but it was in the official dictionary.

Sunday we ate some breakfast cinnamon rolls (mmm) and took Lola to the dog park (freezing!). We had lunch at Bar Louie in the CWE and wandered around Target before saying goodbye. It was great to see Jana and I look forward to Thanksgiving at her dad’s house followed by Thanksgiving at my grandparents’ house.
