Week 20

Baby is the size of a cantaloupe!  (That seems huge!!)

Baby: Week 20

Baby’s digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation… baby’s genitals are now fully formed!

Fun Stuff!! We’ll get another glimpse of our little one next Tuesday.  After the ultrasound, we have an appointment to tour a daycare facility recommended by one of Collin’s coworkers. Last week, we toured the daycare at WashU. It was nice but they have a pretty hefty waiting list (being so convenient and all). We’re going to start sending her in January so it seems so weird to be searching now but if we don’t, we could end up without one!
