Charlotte went to the pediatrician this week. She’s exactly 18lbs which is the 71st percentile. She has slowed down a bit in the growth department.

We started going to swim class last Friday. She was a little uncertain at first but once she for warmed up she had a blast.

Big news on the homefront. I start a new job on May 2nd and if that wasn’t enough, it’s in Champaign, IL. That’s right. We are moving back home. I’m having some sad moments thinking about returning to work and leaving Kirkwood. We absolutely love it here. The thing is, it’s just too hard not having any family close. It’s three hours for us or them to drive and with Charlotte here we just think this is the right move for our family.

The house is on the market. We’ve had an open house and a few showings. St. Joseph is buried head down in our front yard giving us some house selling luck. Keep your fingers crossed for us. In the mean time, we will be living with Collin’s mom in Mahomet.

Lots going on here in the Richmond household!!

I’ve been slacking on my blog reading… but that’s great news that you’re moving to Mahomet! Congrats on the job! Growing up we were 6 hours away from our grandparents and it was no fun! I’m sure you’ll loving being closer to family 🙂

Again, congratulations on the move! It really sounds like a good decision for the family. I understand the ambiguity of going back to work – you don’t want to miss all of the little day to day things with Charlotte. Good luck on selling the house. It’s in a wonderful neighborhood, so maybe the realty saints will smile upon ya! Love you!!
