Day 13 (Blue) and a weekend review

Day 13:

This weekend we got to go on an actual date. My boss’ daughter babysat for us. She’s 16 and lives about a mile away from us. It’s so nice to have someone you can actually trust and then know that their family is close if anything were to happen.

Collin and I went to Biaggi’s for dinner (YUM!) and then went to see Safe House. I really liked it but given that I haven’t been to a movie in forever, my taste could be skewed. It’s just a fun action-type movie. Worth seeing, IMO.

I’m looking forward to this next weekend. My friend Amy is coming in town for the weekend. Ready for some mexican food and girl talk!

Day 12: My closet….AKA where things go to die. You can’t tell from this picture but there are tons more shelves above these. Seeing this through the camera’s point of view makes me need to organize STAT. In my defense, a lot of the shelves aren’t under my control 😉

Day 4: 10am and Day 5: Dinner

So I forgot to do anything at 10am this weekend…. it would’ve been a picture of us painting our laundry room…if I had actually thought about it. It used to be an ugly yellow and is now a cool grey. Still working on the trim….I anticipate being a major PITA…. Also planning on a beadboard ceiling with a new light fixture. You can see the lockers Collin made out of some Ikea bookshelves. They are great for keeping all our gear in one place.

Dinner: Last night’s Quinoa taco salad. Delicious!! As you can tell, we devoured it. I meant to take a before picture but my stomach got the best of me.
