Collin’s Birthday Weekend

I had been secretly planning Collin’s birthday events for a couple months and it was finally time to put that plan into action.  I asked Rob and Melissa if they wanted to come down to St. Louis to surprise Collin and they eagerly agreed. Saturday morning, they drove down and with perfect timing. They got to our house when Collin was in the shower. I brought them in and had them waiting on the couch to surprise him. He was really surprised! The first event of the day was lunch at LLwelyn’s with Lola. We then dropped her off at home and headed to SIX FLAGS!

Rob was a little weary of the roller coasters and proceed to yell profanity at the top of his lungs while we rode. I laughed so hard I cried. He did manage to win a sweet superman cape on the Feats of Strength.

After Six Flags, we went home and got changed for dinner. We tried a new place, West End Bar and Grille. It was pretty good. The weird part about the place was that it’s attached to a local theatre and before the show starts, they open a door that connects the restuarant and theatre and then the people at the theatre walk through and go to the bathroom. Very strange.  After dinner, we went to Bailey’s Chocolate Bar for some Beer Shakes and my favorite Strawberry Sorbet Shake. mmmmm…..

Sunday morning, we surprised Collin with another secret plan….GO-Karts!

Also at the Nascar Speedpark…was Laser Tag! and Rock climbing for the guys.

A great time was had by all. Happy 27th Birthday 🙂

Thanks for the fun birthday!!! Interesting how I could’ve had the same party for my 7th birthday, but I still enjoyed it just as much at 27.
